After a day that saw folks on both sides of the bridge wear shorts and tees, a rarity in spring when the ocean cools the island, tradition held firm and a thunderstorm moved through.
The storm lasted just about 25 minutes, but an impressive cloud layer moved in over the course of about two hours before the raindrops fell. We kept track of the storms on the radar, and checked out the clouds as they moved in – just in time for us to curl into shelter at the Seaside Park borough council meeting.
Enjoy a good spring storm!
