Lavallette Group Creates Garden, Bird Bath Near Bayfront

Lavallette officials this week thanked the borough’s Beautification Committee for building an indeed-beautiful garden near the borough’s bayfront area.

Council President Anita Zalom recognized the committee after they completed work on a garden of colorful flowers with a decorative – and functional – bird bath nestled in between. The garden is located near the tennis courts at the borough’s bayfront.

“They are sharing lots of love and lots of excitement,” Zalom said.

The Beautification Committee members purchased the flowers, planted the garden and have committed to maintain it.
