A developer has proposed a townhome complex to replace a parking lot on one of the borough’s ocean blocks.
Mila Homes, LLC, of Plainfield, will appear before the Seaside Heights planning board March 30 to pitch its plan for the property located at 33 Hamilton Avenue – roughly adjacent to the borough’s post office. Mile is proposing to construct a four story, seven-unit multi-family condominium building.
The property is located in a residential zone, however the developer requires a variance to exceed the density traditionally allowed in the zone.
Also, a variance is required for building height of 48.70 ft. where 47.96 is permitted, a minimal deviation from the requirement.
The meeting will be held March 30 at 6 p.m. at the borough council chambers.
