Above you will find our view of the sunset last night over Barnegat Bay in Seaside Heights. Both the Dock Outfitters pier and Sunset Beach are beautiful spots in the evenings.
This weekend, it is expected there will be snow, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Ocean County, but it will accumulate minimally. The weekend will begin Saturday with mostly sunny skies and a high of 60 degrees. But a west wind will begin moving in over the course of the day, ultimately leading to a slight chance of rain and snow between midnight and 1 a.m., then a chance of snow.
There will be increasing clouds, with a low around 32, and the forecast shows less than 1 inch of snow falling – perhaps even less than a half-inch.
On Sunday, there will be light snow likely, mainly before 2 p.m. It will otherwise be cloudy, with a high near 35. North wind around 5 m.p.h. Another half to one-inch of snow is possible.
Light snow may linger from time to time before 8 p.m. Sunday, but with little to no accumulation at all. The low Sunday night will plunge to just 16 degrees, followed by a return to sunshine on Monday, though with a high of just 29 degrees.
