The following activity was reported by Seaside Park police:

6/11



Disturbance- Police were dispatched to the area of O St. and N. Ocean for a report of a disturbance. Officers arrived and spoke to the parties involved. The caller stated a female threw a cup at his head. No injuries were observed to the victim, and they did not request first aid. All parties were separated, and police mediated the situation. The female involved was asked to leave the property by management. The subject was advised on how to sign complaints if he chose to do so.

Alarm- Police responded to the area of 1st Avenue and Central for a burglar alarm activation. Officers arrived and checked the perimeter of the residence and observed no signs of forced entry. Officers ensured the residence was secure and it was determined the alarm was set off in error.

First Aid- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid Squad were dispatched to a fall victim who had fallen down the stairs. Officers and EMS assessed the victim at the scene, and he was transported to Community Medical Center for further treatment.

Disturbance- While on patrol in the area of Decatur and the Boardwalk Officers observed a large group of people shouting at each other and it was escalating. Police intervened and were able to break up the altercation before it became physical. Officers stood by and dispersed the crowd.

Borough Ordinance Violation- While on patrol Officers observed a suspicious motor vehicle in the area of O St. and Central Avenue. Police made contact with the occupant who was sleeping in their motor vehicle. The subject was advised of the infraction and was issued a borough summons for the violation.

Overdose- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid responded the Boulevard and Stockton for a female who was overdosing on narcotics. Officers and EMS arrived and assess the victim. The victim was already given two doses of Narcan prior to arrival of Police and EMS. The subject began to regain consciousness. They refused any further medical attention.

Theft- Officers responded to the area of 1st and Central to take a theft report. The caller stated that $3,000 in cash had been stolen from him, and he believes it was someone he knew that was staying with him. Officers gathered all the information needed to generate a report, and the caller was advised how to sign complaints if he wished to do so.

Borough Ordinance Violation- While on patrol in the area of 7th and Ocean Officers observed a female with an open alcohol container in public. Police made contact with the subject and advised her of the infraction, and she was issued a borough summons for the violation.

Fire Alarm- Police and the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company responded to a fire alarm activation in the area of 10th and Central. Officers and the fire department checked the building, and no smoke or active fire was observed. The fire department used their heat sensor to ensure there was no fire. It was determined to have been set off by a faulty detector.

6/17

Theft- Police responded to the area of Stockton and the Boardwalk for a bicycle theft. Officers spoke to the victim that stated their unlocked bicycle was taken from the bike rack. Officers gathered all information needed to generate a report, and the area was checked but the bicycle was not located.
