The Upper Shores (Lavallette) branch of the Ocean County Library will expand its hours beginning June 1, officials announced Wednesday.
The Lavallette branch will operate Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Other local branches also will have expanded hours, including:
- Toms River and Brick: Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Point Pleasant Borough: Monday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Point Pleasant Beach and Bay Head Reading Center: Monday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
