Several projects along the Seaside Heights boardwalk are moving along at a quick pace, with one planned to open this summer.
The projects include the construction of a major beach club and entertainment venue on the Dupont Avenue pier, a more casual restaurant on the adjacent pier, also at the boardwalk and Dupont. The beach club is expected to open this summer, and memberships are already being accepted. A hut on the boardwalk for entry tickets is also under construction. The restaurant, which will be located just north of the beach club, is not yet under construction and will open its doors in 2022.

The circular structure will serve as a home for the attraction, which will be operated just as it has for more than a century, as well as a boardwalk museum. Officials have said there is a chance that the building could be expanded in the future to host events or a banquet venue of some kind. Though the building will be completed in late spring or early summer, the carousel is still in the process of being restored by a contractor based in Ohio. Officials are hoping ride will be reassembled and open to the public for the 2022 summer season.
