A former boat storage and repair yard will become the site of three new homes along Route 35 just south of Brick Beach III, the township’s planning board decided recently.
The plot of land, located next to Charlie’s Bait and Tackle, is now a single empty lot. Under the plan presented by the parcel’s owner, FB Properties Family, the property will be divided into three lots on which three homes will be constructed.

The property will be subdivided into three plots between 5,000 square feet and 6,000 square feet and will be located in between the northbound and southbound lanes of the state highway. The homes will be built to comply with flood rules and no basements will be constructed.
