Three concerts will be presented this season. Sunday’s performance is “Gettin’ the Band Back Together,” which will feature a selection of songs from the musical, featuring a live performance by Marilu Henner. The performance begins at 6 p.m. at the Franklin Avenue stage.
The performances were organized by local residents Dee Pellegrino and Joseph Brunetti, of DPM Shore Solutions, an event and media company. The family-friendly concerts are open to the public and will feature performances by the actual cast members of Broadway’s biggest hit shows.
The Monday, Aug. 6 performance will be “Anastasia” and the Monday, Aug. 13 show will be a revue featuring the casts of School of Rock, Beautiful – The Carol King Musical and The Play that Goes Wrong. All shows will start at 6 p.m. on the Franklin Avenue stage.
