A visitor to Seaside Heights was brought to a local hospital after jumping from the window of a motel.
Police were called to the Offshore Motel, 108 Boulevard, at 4:15 a.m. Sunday, said Detective Steve Korman. The officers found the man, a 21-year-old Dudley, Mass. resident, who apparently jumped out of a second story window of the motel onto the Dupont Avenue sidewalk.
Korman said the fall was not a result of any confrontation. Officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage but did not observe signs of intoxication, he added. Due to a complaint of pain in both legs, the man – who was not identified by name – was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center by Tri-Boro First Aid Squad.
