Seaside Heights has announced that its Wine on the Beach event will return for a third year.
This year’s event will run the weekend of Sept. 9 and 10, officials said, and will once again feature tastings from wineries across New Jersey. The weekend will also feature numerous musical performances, artisans and crafters and food from local restaurants.
Wine on the Beach will run from 12 noon to 5 p.m. each day. The event takes place on the sand, and participants are free to set up their blankets and chairs and enjoy wine while relaxing on the beach. So far, the participating wineries include Coda Rossa Winery, DiMatteo Vineyards, Monroeville Vineyard & Winery, Plagido’s Winery, Salem Oak Vineyards, Sharrott Winery, Tomasello Winery, Valenzano Winery, Ventimiglia Vineyard, Villari Vineyard and Wagonhouse Winery.
