Annual Kentucky Derby Party to be Held in Seaside Park Saturday

The Seaside Park Beautification Committee will sponsor its fifth annual Kentucky Derby Party this Saturday.

The party will be held at the Windjammer, 100 SE Central Avenue, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person and include a dinner buffet, desserts, cash bar, “win, place, show” contest, plus a hat parade and door prizes. The race, of course, will be aired during the party.

All are welcome. Proceeds from the event benefit the Beautification Committee, which has funded projects such as the 9/11 Memorial Clock and the trees and flag pole on the municipal lawn.
