Watch: Huge Waves and High Winds, But Island’s Berms Hold Up

The Jersey Shore was spared from dealing with snow Tuesday, but heavy surf and high winds were being felt as a fast-moving March nor’easter made its way through the region.

Despite the storm, which kicked up massive waves just offshore, there were no reports of temporary dune berms failing and no reports of major – or, for the most part, even moderate – flooding.
