Officials warned Friday that black helicopters will be flying over Seaside Heights beginning Saturday, and there is no reason for the public to alarmed.
The helicopters will be surveying electrical lines and equipment from the air – specifically, JCP&L’s connection to the island power grid and the Seaside Heights linkup.
The flights and inspections will continue periodically through much of September, according to the Seaside Heights Office of Emergency Management.
