A video uploaded to Facebook last month shows the power of the ocean against the steel sea wall revetment that has been built in Mantoloking and Brick.
The video shows the ocean, on a sunny day, hitting the wall with ferocity. Officials in Brick said this week that they are planning to open beaches this summer and create walkways down to the sand, but must be cautious of where the surf could potentially come into contact with the wall.
