Seaside Heights’ annual Easter Egg Hunt event was postponed over the weekend due to the foul weather on Sunday, but will still take place this season.
The event has been rescheduled for March 26 and 1 p.m. It traditionally has taken place each year on Palm Sunday.
For those who will be attending: Follow the signs to the “Age Groups” to uncover the hidden eggs – up to 15,000 eggs will be there for the taking! Kids will earn prizes, including free ride tickets, skeeball games and food, and there will also be golden eggs with seasonal beach badges in them from the Borough of Seaside Heights. The event is free and open to children up to 10 years old. There will also be a challenger area for kids with special needs.
Radio station B98.5 will be in front of the Franklin Avenue Stage broadcasting live.
Age groups report to:
- 0-2 – Hancock Avenue
- 3-4 – Blaine Avenue
- 5-6 – Sumner Avenue
- 7-8 – Hamilton Avenue
- 9-10 – Lincoln Avenue
- Special Needs – Franklin Avenue
