Now, onto the forecast, according to the National Weather Service:
Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. Light and variable wind becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
Monday Night: The rain moves in, according to the NWS. There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 p.m., then showers and possibly a thunderstorm between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., continue after 5 a.m. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Low around 73. While wind will not be a significant issue, new rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches are possible.
Tuesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 5 p.m.. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. High near 84. Southwest wind around 10 mph. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms, are expected.
Tuesday Night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 8 p.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Low around 70. Southwest wind around 5 mph. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Wednesday: Fair weather returns, with partly sunny skies and a high near 80. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south in the afternoon.
