Seaside Park has announced the holiday schedule for trash pickup in town for the end of the year, which includes Christmas, Hanukkah and New Year’s Day within a single week.
According to a schedule issued by the borough, trash collections will take place Dec. 23, Dec. 26, Dec. 30, and Jan. 2. Recycling collections will occur on Dec. 27 and Jan. 3.
Additionally, the borough has set the date and time of its reorganizational meeting, at which council members are sworn into their terms and professionals are appointed for the upcoming year. The meeting will be held Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025 at 7 p.m. in the Borough Council Meeting Room, located at Sixth and Central Avenues above police headquarters.
There are also two more dates on which holiday beach badges can be picked up at borough hall. Seasonal badges for 2025 can be purchased online at this link, with pickup dates remaining Dec. 21 and 22 in the Borough Hall lobby from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
