Don’t be surprised to see (and hear) a fire truck heading down your street Friday night if you live in the northern half of Seaside Park.
The all-volunteer department is hosting its annual door-to-door fundraiser to raise money, meet residents and have some fun in the process. The annual fundraiser is one of the largest fund-raising efforts of the year and helps support the department with equipment and training.
Station 45 will continue our door-to-door fund drive walk through town on Friday evening beginning at 6:30 pm. The volunteers will be starting at 6th Avenue and heading north.
“Watch and listen for the fire apparatus on your block,” an announcement said. “We hope to see everyone [Friday] evening when we knock on your door. Cold water and generous donations are very much appreciated.”
