The Seaside Heights planning board will be tasked with determining whether a property along an ocean block should be subdivided into two lots to support two residential homes.
The board will consider the application of the owner of 54 Franklin Avenue at its Aug. 26 meeting.
The property owner is seeking board approval of a minor subdivision, plus any variances that may arise. The application seeks to subdivide the existing lot measuring 40-by-100 feet into two lots measuring 20-by-100 feet. A new single family home will be constructed on each of the newly created lots. In Seaside Heights the standard residential lot size is 20-by-100 feet, therefore the lots will likely comply with the zoning code.
The applicant may require a variance for the driveway apron or curb cut, a notice said, however that is the only variance expected to be requested.
The meeting will be held Aug. 26 at 6 p.m. at the municipal complex, 901 Boulevard & Sherman Avenue.
