Seaside Heights will host a “Date Night Movie on the Beach” event, geared toward couples.
Audience members will be seated on the beach in the vicinity of Beach Patrol North Headquarters near the Franklin Avenue beach entrance, where the romantic classic “Sleepless in Seattle” will be screened.
The movie will roll at dusk (about 8:30 p.m.), and the Seaside Heights Business Improvement District will be on the beach selling beer and wine for the movie.
In case of inclement weather, the rain date for the movie is the following Tuesday, Aug. 27.
