A “window into the unknown” will be featured at the Upper Shores Branch of the Ocean County Library, located in Lavallette.
The Friends of the Upper Shores Library group will be hosting a Psychic Fair and tarot card readings as a fundraiser for the library. The event is meant for fun and entertainment purposes, an announcement said. Tarot readers and a medium will be available for 15-minute sessions during the July 30 program.
Proceeds from each $30 donation per session will benefit the Friends of the Upper Shores Branch. The event will be held July 30 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., as well as 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Those who want to reserve a session can call 732-793-3996 or stop by the Upper Shores Branch, 112 Jersey City Avenue, Lavallette.
The “Friends” are volunteers who support the Library through fundraising, programs, and advocacy. New members are always welcome. Applications can be obtained at any OCL branch or reading center and at www.theoceancountylibrary.org/oclfriends.
