Toms River Beach Badges On Sale, Discount Thru May 27; Guard Schedule Announced

Toms River officials have announced beach badges are available for sale at three locations, with prospective sunbathers able to score a discount on a season badge through May 27.

Season badges are $50 through May 27. Senior badges are available for a one-time fee of $15 and valid for life. After May 27, the price of a badge rises to $65. Children ages 12 and under do not need a badge to access the beach.



This year, the official beach season with guarded beaches begins May 25 – Memorial Day weekend – with beach guarded on weekends. Daily guards will begin June 15. Guards will be on duty 9 a.m to 5 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Badges are available for purchase at three locations:

  • Municipal Building, Toms River Tax Office, 33 Washington Street.
  • Toms River Recreation Department, 1810 Warren Point Road, Toms River.
  • Toms River Senior Center, 652 Garfield Avenue, Toms River.
