Seaside Heights will present the final edition of its annual Broadway Meets the Beach series this Friday, organizers said, capping off another successful season for the wildly-popular event, which brings Broadway stars and musicians to the boardwalk for free performances.
The Friday, Aug. 11 performance will feature John Cudia, Jen Perry, Korie Lee Blossey, Jackie Nuzzo, Josh LeRose, Tyler Ricker, Brayden Morgan and the OCAC Microphonic Choir.
Perry has performed on Broadway in Kinky Boots and Mamma Mia, while Cudia’s Broadway stage experience includes roles in Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables. Blossey has impressed in his role as the genie in Broadway’s “Alladin.”
The performance will be held Friday, Aug. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Franklin Avenue Stage on the boardwalk. The show is produced by theater veteran Joseph John Brunetti and local event producer Dee Pellegrino. There is no admission fee, and the performances normally feature prizes and the chance to meet cast members after the show.
