Monday’s Sunset Behind the Manasquan River Was One for the Books

A few clouds arrived just in time to provide a dramatic backdrop to a spectacular sunset Monday night at the Jersey Shore.

Shorebeat’s cameras caught the spectacle on the Manasquan River, at the Maxson Avenue beach in Point Pleasant Borough, just across the channel from the popular Treasure Island anchorage. The sunset capped an unseasonably-mild day where temperatures flirted with the 60 degree mark.
