November Off to a Warm, Sunny (And Golden!) Start at the Jersey Shore

November made its debut Tuesday with a whirlwind of weather – from a cool, drizzly morning, to an overcast and muggy midday, to a warm and sunny afternoon and evening. The presence of clouds, sun and warmth produced a stunning sunset, which we were lucky enough to catch out on the Metedeconk River and Barnegat Bay. It is embedded above.

The rest of the week, likewise, looks to feature fair weather and mild temperatures, according to the National Weather Service.

Wednesday will be sunny, with a high near 66, with northeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Sunny skies will continue Thursday with a high near 63. East wind 5 to 10 mph. The week will end Friday with mostly sunny skies, a high near 66 and a very-light northeast wind around 5 mph, becoming south in the afternoon.

The weekend forecast indicates highs near 70 with sun and clouds.
