Following a weekend that mixed a sunny, warm Saturday with a gloomy, rainy Sunday, the week ahead looks to continue the trend, the National Weather Service predicted. We captured some sunset action Saturday night before the storm moved in, which is shared in the video above.
After overnight clearing, sunny weather was on tap for Monday with a high of 55 degrees. A strong northwest wind will move at about 20 m.p.h., however. The overnight low will dip to 38 degrees.
Temperatures will recover to 48 degrees Tuesday with mostly sunny skies, the NWS forecast said. There will be a north wind at approximately 10 m.p.h. with a change to southeast as the day moves on. The overnight low will barely dip, bottoming out at 45 degrees.
Wednesday will see a mild high near 60 degrees, but will be cloudy with showers, mainly after 1 p.m. Breezy conditions will resume, and between a quarter and half-inch of rain may fall.
Temperatures will return to more seasonable norms in the 40s toward the end of the week with windy conditions continuing to dominate.
