It may have caused us to be just a couple minutes late to a borough council meeting last night, but we figured a sunset this beautiful might just have been worth it!
After a line of very nasty thunderstorms appeared as if they were heading right for the Shore area Monday afternoon, they made a quick turn to the north (sorry, readers from that neck of the woods!) and spared us their wrath. As a bonus, a few lingering clouds caught the almost-neon red rays of the evening sun, which set at 6:59 p.m.
We happened to capture the clouds moving in during the late afternoon at Coastal Boat Sales & Marina off Route 70 in Brick, and moving out in the evening at Bayside Park, also in Brick. We thought you’d enjoy a quick timelapse video!
