New homes have been proposed for parcels on Dupont Avenue in Seaside Heights.
The borough’s planning board will hear applications from property owners on the street to subdivide their lots in anticipation of development.
In one application, the owner of 46 Dupont Avenue is seeking permission to divide the current parcel into two lots, each of which will measure 20-by-100 feet. A single-family home will be built on each.
The second application is for the property at 22 Dupont Avenue, where an identical plan is being pursued. The property owner is seeking to subdivide the land into two 20-by-100 foot lots where two single-family homes will be constructed.
Both applications require variances for their side yard setbacks and the height of the homes proposed.
The applications will be heard at the Aug. 31 borough planning board meeting, which is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the borough courtroom.
