Lavallette will play host to three popular events in the coming weeks – including one this coming weekend.
Food Truck Festival
The Lavallette Business Association will host a “Kickoff to Summer Food Truck Festival” this Saturday, June 25, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. The festival will follow a 5K run in the morning. The food truck festival will feature live bands and kids’ activities. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children.
The festival will be held at the bayfront and Philadelphia Avenue.
Children’s Treasure Hunts
The LBA will host children’s treasure hunts every Monday this summer at 6 p.m., beginning next Monday, June 27. The treasure hunts will be held weekly, at a different beach, through Aug. 22.
Children will be able to head to the beach and dig for hidden coins that can be turned in for great prizes. The series will also feature a nature scavenger hunt which is free to children of all ages. The locations of each treasure hunt and additional details will be listed on the LBA’s Facebook page.
Craft & Vendor Market
The Lavallette First Aid Squad Women’s Auxiliary will host its Craft and Vendor Market Wednesday, July 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A rain date has been set for July 21.
