Watch: Big Waves, Some Erosion in Wake of Quick-Moving Coastal Storm





High swells, a wind-induced blowout tide and heavy winds combined to cause some beach erosion along the barrier island Tuesday.

There were no signs of damage to boardwalk infrastructure or entrances, but some areas of beach carried debris – both natural and man-made – as the spring weather patterns begin to push sand closer to shore.

We surveyed several beaches Tuesday after the storm moved out, as shown in the video above.
