Spring, well, “springs” Sunday. And, well, it’ll be “kinda sorta” “springy.”
The high temperature is forecast for 55 degrees and it will be sunny. It will also be breezy, with a west wind 10 to 20 m.p.h., with gusts as high as 30 m.p.h., according to the folks at the National Weather Service in Mount Holly.
The mid-to-high 50s weather pattern, with sun, will last until mid-week when rain is forecast to move in, but as it turns out, the last day of winter was quite the sight to behold at the Shore. Saturday brought temperatures in the low 70s, people rolled out their beach blankets, hitched up their boats and hit the bay, and got in some fishing.
We can’t wait for the next day that looks just like this one!
So, for the first day of spring:
- Sunrise: 7:00 a.m.
- Sunset: 7:08 p.m.
- High Tide (Ocean): 9:26 a.m.
- Low Tide (Ocean): 3:49 p.m.
- High Tide (Bay): 2:24 p.m.
- Low Tide (Bay): 8:46 a.m., 9:00 p.m.
