Seaside Park began selling its 2022 season beach badges this week, in time to be used as gifts – and at a discounted price.
The borough’s beach badge sales began yesterday and will run through Dec. 31 (weekdays) and Dec. 19 (weekends). Seasonal badges will be at their discounted rate of $55 and senior (65 years of age and up) badges will be at their regular price of $20 (valid proof of age required for purchase of senior badges).
The borough has set the following procedures for purchases:
- Monday through Friday sales are online only through Dec. 31.
- This is the link to purchase badges from the Seaside Park website.
- Saturday and Sunday in person sales and badge pick ups will be located at Beach Control headquarters on the boardwalk between N and O Streets. Badges can be picked up each weekend day from Dec. 4 to Dec. 19.
- Any badges not picked up by Dec. 19 can be redeemed and picked up beginning May 1.
Seasonal badges rise to $60 May 1 and $65 June 15. Weekly badges will cost $35 in 2022, and daily badges will cost $12. Active and retired military and dependents are free with valid ID.
The borough has asked those seeking more information to e-mail beachcontrol@seasideparknj.org or call 732-966-6572 Monday through Friday after 3 p.m.
