The residential building boom in Seaside Heights will continue, with the borough’s planning board recently approving a new subdivision of three homes in the western portion of the town.
The property at 301 Webster Avenue, now occupied by one older residential home, will be divided into three lots that each measure 1,870 square feet in area. The properties will be located on the southwest corner of Webster Avenue’s intersection with Barnegat Avenue.
The board approved a plan to renovate the existing home on the property, which the owner will raise to provide parking spaces and to remove heating and water elements out of the flood zone. The second lot will consist of a duplex home that fronts Barnegat Avenue. A new single-family home will be constructed on the third lot.
Variances were granted for density and setbacks.
