The owner of a multi-unit residential building on the Boulevard in Seaside Heights has proposed renovations that will update the complex. It is the latest building along the borough’s main inner thoroughfare to see rejuvenation planned.
The borough’s planning board on Wednesday night will hear testimony from the owner of 604 Blvd. SH, LLC, which owns the property at that address. It is currently an older-style residential building. Its use will remain the same, but will be updated and heavily renovated. The building is located at the corner northeast corner of Sumner Avenue.
According to documents filed with the planning board, the applicant is seeking approval to “renovated and restored” to support four rental units and five permanent apartment units. The units, together, will house up to 22 occupants. The matter is before the board because variances may be required to be obtained before renovation is approved. The notice said variances related to density and off-street parking will be sought.
The meeting will be held March 31, 2021, at 6 p.m. in the council chambers at the Seaside Heights municipal complex. It will also be streamed on the borough’s website.
