Seaside Heights Road Resurfacing to Begin Friday After Storm Delay

A road resurfacing project in Seaside Heights will begin Friday after its start was delayed by this week’s nor’easter.

Borough officials announced Wednesday that due to weather-related issues, the Carteret Avenue and Hancock Avenue road resurfacing project is now scheduled to commence this Friday, Dec. 18 and be completed by Wednesday, Dec. 23.

The contractor will work on Saturday but not Sunday, according to officials. The work schedule is weather-permitting.

“Please remove all motor vehicles from on-street parking spaces until the project is completed,” the announcement said.
