The Seaside Park borough council on Thursday night approved the entire reconstruction of a street in town.
The council voted to borrow $350,000 for the reconstruction of M Street. The project will include removing the current blacktop and replacing it with a new base and paving surface, as well as drainage and other improvements.
The bond measure to support the project was approved unanimously. Now that the funding has been appropriated, the borough must seek bids, award and contract and hold pre-construction meetings to determine when the work will be completed.
