Authorities in Ocean County on Tuesday announced the arrest of three local residents who they say stored and distributed drugs out of a Seaside Heights motel room.
Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and Seaside Heights Police Department executed a search warrant March 3 on the hotel room, the location of which was not revealed. As a result, detectives seized approximately 45 grams of crack cocaine, 20 folds of Heroin, a quantity of marijuana, and $1,600 in cash. Three following individuals were arrested as they were attempting to leave the hotel:
Quran Thomas, 40, of Manalapan, was charged with possession of cocaine more than a half-ounce but less than five ounces with intent to distribute, simple cocaine possession, possession of heroin and possession of marijuana. Thomas was transported to the Seaside Heights Police station, where he was processed and released pending a future court date
Bryan Burgos, 34, of Lakewood, was charged with possession of cocaine more than a half-ounce but less than five ounces with intent to distribute, simple cocaine possession, possession of heroin and possession of marijuana. Burgos is currently lodged in the Ocean County Jail on unrelated pending matters
Akira Randle, 22, of Seaside Heights, was charged with possession of cocaine more than a half-ounce but less than five ounces with intent to distribute, simple cocaine possession, possession of heroin and possession of marijuana. Randle was transported to the Seaside Heights Police station, where she was processed and released pending a future court date.
