Food Truck Festival, Movies on the Bay Series Planned in Lavallette

Lavallette is gearing up for a summer filled with fun events for residents and visitors.

The Kickoff to Summer Food Truck Festival will be held Saturday, June 22 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the bayfront between Philadelphia and Washington avenues. The event will feature a host of food trucks, live bands and kids’ activities. Adult admission is $5 and children are admitted free. The event is sponsored by the Lavallette Business Association.

The borough will also play host to its Movies on the Bay series again this season. Beginning July 9, movies will be shown every Tuesday at the bayfront gazebo at 8 p.m. The movies are:
