A state grant will allow one of Seaside Heights’ central roads to be repaved.
The borough council on Wednesday sought bids for the project, which will be funded by a grant from the state Department of Transportation. It is expected to cost about $750,000 and include drainage improvements.
“Unless they can do it between now and Memorial Day, it’ll probably be done in the fall,” said Mayor Anthony Vaz, who expected the latter.
