The coming week will bring a tease or two, but no solidly fair weather is on the horizon.
There is a chance of rain every day this week, according to the National Weather Service, including the possibility of some heavy rain and thunderstorms at times. Temperatures will range widely – from a high of 88 degrees on Tuesday to a low of 58 degrees the following night.
According to the NWS forecast:
- Monday: Areas of drizzle before 9am. Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 69. Northeast wind around 6 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.
- Tuesday: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 88. Southwest wind 7 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
- Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a high near 73. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
- Thursday: A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 74. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
- Friday: Showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 69. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
