There was suspense of waiting for the all-go to start digging, as families took their children to the Seaside Heights beaches. And then came the mad dash to find plastic Easter Eggs buried in the sand. Each egg had coupons and vouchers to be redeemed at Seaside businesses.
As in previous years, children of different age groups and special needs were separated into their own area to search; each had a different beach block. Some kids came in Easter finery and carried intricate baskets, while others brought their best plastic digging tools to find some prizes.
Boardwalk businesses enjoyed the crush of crowds, as the Easter bunny and the boardwalk business’ staff helped hand out prizes to the participants.
