Seaside Heights has canceled its First Night fireworks Sunday due to dangerously cold temperatures, officials said.
Indoor events, which are being held at a number of arcades and borough businesses (more information here), will go on as planned.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will be between 10-15 degrees at 5 p.m., when the fireworks were supposed to have launched, with a wind chill below zero.
