Early information has emerged about a robbery that took place just about 8:45 p.m. at Kelly’s Sea-Bay Sunoco station in Lavallette. The suspect has yet to be identified or apprehended.
According to sources, a man described as a white male approximately six feet tall wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and red beenie-style hat brandished a gun and demanded money from an employee.
The suspect fled on foot northbound after the robbery.
