Lavallette’s two incumbent borough council members, Michael Stogdill and Robert Lamb, will return for new terms on the governing body.
Lamb and Stogdill, both Republicans, bested Joni Brennan, a Democrat, by a two-to-one margin during Tuesday’s election.
Republicans gained a seat in Seaside Park, where incumbent Democrat Nancy Koury fell to Republican Ray Amabile for a term on the council.
In Seaside Heights, the race for two council seats was unopposed. Republican incumbents Louis DiGuilio and Richard Tompkins were both elected to serve terms on the governing body.
Seaside Heights Borough Council:
- Louis DiGuilio : 416 / 50.55%
- Richard Tompkins: 399 / 48.48%
Lavallette Borough Council:
- Michael Stogdill: 638 / 40.00%
- Robert Lamb: 648 / 40.63%
- Joni Brennan: 306 / 19.18%
Seaside Park Borough Council:
- Faith Liguori: 516 / 35.93%
- Ray Amabile: 462 / 32.17%
- Nancy Kuori: 452 / 31.48%
