Lavallette’s two incumbent borough council members, Michael Stogdill and Robert Lamb, will return for new terms on the governing body.

Lamb and Stogdill, both Republicans, bested Joni Brennan, a Democrat, by a two-to-one margin during Tuesday’s election.

Republicans gained a seat in Seaside Park, where incumbent Democrat Nancy Koury fell to Republican Ray Amabile for a term on the council.
