Lavallette Policemen’s Benevolent Association Local 372 has donated $500 to Oceans of Love during an annual fundraiser that has become legendary at the Jersey Shore.
Local radio host Andy Chase of 105.7 The Hawk, a classic rock station, has been living on top of a billboard in Toms River all week, raising money for Oceans of Love, a charitable organization that helps Ocean County children with cancer and their families.
The billboard promotion will continue through Sunday. Anyone interested in donating can visit the site, located in the Target/Lowe’s parking lot on Hooper Avenue in Toms River. Those who wish to donate can also call 877-HAWK-1057 to make a pledge over the phone or donate online at the station’s website.
