Wine on the Beach will be held Saturday, Sept. 10 and Sunday, Sept. 11 at 12 noon, officials said. It will be held at Blaine Avenue.
Described as an upscale event, Wine on the Beach will host a dozen New Jersey wineries and numerous food venues. More than 200 samples of wine will be available. Guests will also be able to attend numerous wine related seminars and presentations. Wine on the Beach guests will be able to purchase wine by the bottle and case. They will also be able to open and drink their newly-purchased wine in the designated area on the beach – perfect to enjoy while listening to the concerts.
Attendees can bring beach chairs so they can enjoy wine on the sand.
Two concerts go with the Wine on the Beach, including a performance by Beginnings, A Tribute to Chicago at 2:30 p.m. Saturday and The Bronx Wanderers from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Both concerts will be held at Grant Avenue.
Tickets for Wine on the Beach can be purchased online here (tickets are $15 in advance of $20 at the gate, and $10 for first responders with ID), however event-goers can receive a $5 off coupon at several local businesses.
