One weekend in October is looking to be a delicious one in Lavallette.
The Lavallette Business Association is in the planning stage of a new Food Truck Festival event Sunday, Oct. 16. The tentative plan calls for the festival to be held in the parking lot at the bay beach near Washington and Philadelphia avenues, said Mark Speaker, vice president of the LBA.
“It’s a lull in the food truck circuit” at that time of year, said Speaker, which prompted vendors to reach out to organize an event.
About 16 food trucks have been lined up for the event, Speaker said.
More information on the event will be announced when the planning is complete, Speaker said.
