The Federal Bureau of Investigation on Monday morning identified a man wanted for questioning in Saturday’s boardwalk bombing in Seaside Park.
According to New Jersey State Police, the FBI is asking for assistance in locating Ahmad Khan Rahami, who is wanted for questioning in connection with the explosions that occurred in both Seaside Park and New York City hours apart on Saturday.
Rahami, 28, is a naturalized citizen who was born in Afghanistan, the FBI said. His last known address was in Elizabeth, Union County. He is approximately 5’ 6” tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds, according to state police. Rahami has black hair, brown eyes, and black facial hair.
He is to be considered “armed and dangerous,” according to officials.
