Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity will be hosting an online silent auction to benefit the organization’s efforts, it was announced this week.
Bidding will go live at noon on Thursday, April 21 and close at 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 24. The public will have the opportunity to bid on items including a GoPro, Hot Air Balloon rides by Soaring Adventures, a QVC studio tour, foursomes of golf and many more items.
Bidders can use PayPal or credit cards to pay and winning prizes can be shipped or picked up at the Northern Ocean Habitat offices in Toms River. All proceeds will benefit Northern Ocean Habitat and will be used towards to the construction of affordable housing in the community. Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit housing ministry that brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. To date, the Northern Ocean affiliate has completed 16 new homes, over 60 Hurricane Sandy critical home repairs and over 114 exterior repairs through their ‘A Brush with Kindness’ program.
